Workspaces and clearer mission workflows
Give each mission its own workspace
Organize mission data, results and integrations in named workspaces, with a separate member list for each. Organization administrators can create a workspace in Settings → Workspaces and assign themselves and their team; members can then switch workspaces from the sidebar. Administrators can rename workspaces, archive completed work for read-only access, and restore it later. New workspaces start empty, while your existing mission data stays in the permanent default workspace.
Improvements
- Ground stations Named elevation masks: keep multiple masks for a station and choose the mask for each pass calculation, with optional RF-band and link-direction labels to distinguish them.
- Interface Usage history: compare AOI-event and ground-station-pass creation and booking activity over time, with retained historical totals and clear coverage for the selected period.
- Maneuvers Stored maneuver records: create, inspect and edit complete burn compositions, manage record names and frames, and exchange records through OCM import and export.
- Measurements Measurement uncertainty: configure spacecraft defaults for position and velocity uncertainty in OEM and SP3 imports, with per-import overrides; defaults apply only where the file omits uncertainty, and valid supplied values take precedence.
- Orbits OD review and approval: review saved convergence and residual checks, with recorded operator approval for eligible results. Approval remains separate from the quality-check outcome.
- Orbits Public-orbit history: browse collected public orbits by spacecraft and epoch, inspect their mean elements and provider retrieval activity, and view stored TLE text when available.
- Orbits Orbit display sources: show precise and public orbits independently on the map and in orbital-element charts, or return to automatic source selection.
- Spacecraft Mission timing: view the catalogue launch date, enter a planned lifetime in years and months, and see the resulting planned end date.
- Tasks Stop a process: stop supported queued or running computations from Process Monitor, with a visible stopping state until the request is acknowledged.
Fixes
- Areas of interest Dates and playback: validity dates preserve the selected UTC day, and footprint playback stays aligned with the ground track and selected time.
- Ground stations Elevation masks: pass calculations retain the selected mask, with smoother editing of constant-elevation station configurations.
- Maneuvers Plan editing: creation dialogs scroll consistently, and modifying an orbit-raise comparison retains the saved inputs.
- Measurements Import review and compatibility: per-file results make saved counts and uncertainty assumptions or overrides easier to review. OEM and legacy angle/range imports support documented uncertainty defaults where source values are absent; valid supplied values retain precedence, and invalid supplied uncertainty is rejected.
- Orbits Saved-result navigation: open a process's retained OD result directly, including results outside the current solutions date filter.
- Tasks Process Monitor: routine automatic pass and AOI refreshes stay out of the list, and stopped processes retain their final elapsed time.
API
- Fitted TLEs: generate an own-computed TLE at an explicit requested epoch from an eligible stored state using an authorized Operations API key. See the State Vectors API reference.
- Stored maneuvers: the public contract now covers OCM import, export by record identity or time range, and explicit deletion, with clear duplicate and overlap conflicts. Planner and approval workflows remain in the application; see the Maneuver API guide.
- Workspace targeting: integrations can address an authorized workspace explicitly; requests without a workspace selection continue to use the permanent default workspace. See integration setup.
